Terms and Conditions

Booking and Payment

  • To secure your reservation, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • Full payment is due at the start of the camp once arrived.  

  • Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, card or cash. (3-3.5%).

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 14 days (2 weeks) or more before the start of the camp will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • No refunds will be issued if cancellations are made under the 14 days (2 weeks) of the starting date of the camp. 

  • In the case of no refund, the deposit/payment is valid for 1 year therefore can be used to join the camp another time.

  • No refunds will be offered once guest(s) have checked into Surf Camp Lombok.

  • No refunds will be offered if guest(s) choose to leave Surf Camp Lombok. 

  • EXCEPTIONS: death/illness of a family member.

Health and Fitness

  • Participants must be in good health and have a reasonable level of physical fitness.

  • Participants must be capable of open ocean swimming; ability to tread and keep their head above water as well as freestyle / stroke swimming.

  • It is the participant's responsibility to inform the camp organisers of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions in advance.

Insurance

  • Participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers surfing-related activities and emergencies.

  • The camp organisers are not liable for any injury, illness, or loss of personal belongings during the camp.

Behavior and Conduct

  • Participants are expected to follow all camp rules and guidelines. Should participants not, the camp reserves the right to end your camp prematurely. 

  • Any disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate removal from the camp without a refund.

Equipment

  • The camp organisers will provide necessary surf equipment during lessons.

  • Participants are responsible for any damage to equipment caused by negligence or misuse.

  • The camp organisers are not liable for any injuries or medical conditions of a guest caused by their misuse of their equipment/ or fellow guest’s equipment.

Itinerary Changes

  • The camp itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions and other factors beyond our control.

  • The camp organisers will do their best to provide suitable alternatives.

Liability Waiver

  • Participants must sign a liability waiver before the start of the camp, acknowledging the inherent risks associated with surfing.

Photography and Media

  • The camp organisers may use photographs and videos taken during the camp for promotional purposes.

  • Participants who do not wish to be featured in promotional materials must inform the camp organisers in writing.

  • Photos or videos of guests made by the camp are deleted when the camp is finished. Therefore, it is the guests responsibility to ensure they collect their photos and/or videos before the camp ends.

Force Majeure

  • The camp organisers are not liable for any disruptions or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters or political unrest.

  • Refund of payments (including deposit) is not valid when a force majeure occurs.

Privacy

  • Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for camp-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

By booking and participating in Surf Camp Lombok, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to review these terms before making a booking.
